![]() On the morning of April 12th, we'll dance in the spirit of the Pink Full Moon—named not for its color, but for the wild pink phlox flowers that bloom in early spring. This celestial event symbolizes rebirth, development, and the continued blossoming of spring. While the full moon will reach its full phase at 8:22 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time / 5:22 p.m. Pacific Time, its presence invites us to reflect on the metamorphosis stirring within and around us. Alluded to in both biblical and secular beliefs, the Pink Full Moon is often seen as a marker of awakening and expansion. In many cultures, it celebrates the return of vibrant life. This timing coincides with the beginning of Passover, reminding us of liberation and the possibility of stepping forward into something new. Through the moving meditation of Sweat Your Prayers—a practice of 5Rhythms that transforms movement into spiritual expression—we'll honor the full moon's energy. Each step becomes an offering—releasing what no longer serves and generating the strength to move into what is to come. 5Rhythms Sweat Your Prayers™ Sweat Your Prayers™ is not just a dance practice; it's a sacred journey into the depths of our being, guided by the wisdom of movement and the power of intention. Created by 5Rhythms founder Gabrielle Roth, this movement practice invites us to explore the divine within ourselves and the world around us. In Sweat Your Prayers™, we merge our bodies with the music, surrendering to the rhythm of our breath and the beat of our hearts. Through this embodied prayer, we awaken our cardiovascular system while simultaneously opening our spiritual hearts. Each movement becomes a celebration of life, each breath a reminder of our precious vitality. This practice is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or experience level. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or stepping onto the dance floor for the first time, you'll find a welcoming and inclusive space to explore and express yourself authentically. There are no steps to follow, no right or wrong way to move; simply let your body lead the way and trust in the wisdom of your own heart's rhythm. Guided by Sylvie Minot's gentle presence, we'll dance in silence, allowing the music to speak to our souls and guide us on our liberating journey of self-discovery. Reserve Your Spot To save your spot, we encourage you to register in advance, as space is limited. Early registration also supports our wonderful event volunteers, helping them greet and check in participants with ease.
