​​​​This week, the night skies come alive with the breathtaking spectacle of the Perseid meteor shower, a yearly cosmic display that never fails to inspire awe.

As we witness this celestial phenomenon, we are reminded of the illuminating power within each of us, for we are made from some of the same materials found in meteorites, including the building blocks of life.

Astrologically, the Perseids are a beacon of hope, lighting up the night sky. Their radiant sparks invite us to see the magic of the world around us and how bursts of light can transform darkness.

Our Bay Area group will come together on Saturday for our Sweat Our Prayers class. We’ll dance with the magnificent chaotic energy of the universe in and around us, welcoming the life force that the Perseids carry. As we "wish upon a falling star," we’ll hold a vision for more peaceful and caring times ahead for everyone.

If you can’t join us on Saturday, when you look to the night skies this week and happen to catch a falling star, let the energy it exudes foster a spirit of positive expectation for the future.
