Here are our upcoming San Francisco Bay Area July events! BIPOC Dance Classes Celebrate the strength and unity of the BIPOC community through the power of movement and dance. Every first and third Saturday, our BIPOC dance features one of three teachers on rotation, bringing their unique energy and perspective to the dance. The gatherings occur from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Interplay Studio, 2273 Telegraph Ave., Oakland. Doors close at 10:50 a.m. to maintain the ceremonial container. The exchange is $20 paid at the door, but we want to emphasize that no one will be turned away for lack of funds. On Saturday, July 6, is "Merge and Emerge" with Sapana Doshi, where freedom dance uplifts and empowers BIPOC spirits. On July 20, Sylvie Minot will lead a 5Rhythms BIPOC dance practice, connecting the mind, body, and soul. Kamla Sufi will bring her offering in August. Sweat Your Prayers In our July 13 Sweat Your Prayers™ class, we will connect our bodies to our inner guides. Movement becomes a powerful expression of our true selves, transcending barriers and celebrating our humanity. This monthly dance practice invites us all to explore the profound connection between movement, healing, and self-discovery, regardless of our diverse backgrounds. With love, Sylvie and the SDP Team "A garden's beauty never lies in one flower."
