Leadership in Motion
Leadership in Motion is a novel approach to professional development that focuses on nonverbal embodiment of leadership. Over 90% of how we communicate with other people is nonverbal and the key to our leadership effectiveness is intricately tied to our gestures, postures, and movements. Our classes integrate mindfulness, creative movement exercises, and music to help you discover your own unique expression of leadership. We will also offer you tools to help you expand your nonverbal embodiment vocabulary in order to more fully realize your leadership potential.
We work closely with each company or organization to tailor classes that best support your unique vision, needs, and goals. Each program typically consists of a series of 90-minute classes with up to 35 participants. No previous dance experience is required.

These sessions complement our group classes and give a more individualized experience. Private sessions can help deepen your study of the 5Rhythms and may include focusing on a specific rhythm. It can also support the development of your own unique movement vocabulary and bring awareness to patterns that manifest themselves in the body and show up in various aspects of everyday life. In addition, private sessions can facilitate the exploration of imagery, dreams, or a specific theme.

“The body holds stories and old wounds, and medicine as well. It has the antidote to heal itself. Through moving, we release our stories and allow healing to come through.”
