CONSULTATION GROUP TRAINING

GROUP

What is the Movement Teachers Consultation Group?

Designed for a maximum of six participants, this group creates a dedicated space for movement teachers across various dance modalities to address questions, share case examples, and explore the real challenges of facilitation. Participants bring inquiries from individual sessions, classes, and workshops.

Sylvie Minot draws on her extensive background in training facilitators and over twenty years of teaching experience with diverse populations to guide the discussions that arise.

Together, the group taps into the collective wisdom and experience each participant brings.

Objectives & Goals

  • Balance the use of words and dance

  • Use music to affect the process

Prerequisites

  • At least 5 years of movement practice of some kind

  • Experience facilitating groups or private sessions

  • A movement teacher of any style, or currently in in-depth training
