Giving Tuesday

Give the Gift of Dance this GivingTuesday
Help us bring healing, connection, and movement to seniors, veterans, and healthcare providers

and uplift BIPOC facilitators through scholarship support.

Give the gift of dance...

At Syzygy Dance Project, we believe in the transformative power of dance to heal, connect, and empower. Through our movement classes, we bring relief, joy, and a sense of community to those navigating life's toughest challenges: veterans living with PTSD, isolated seniors, and healthcare professionals working with trauma patients.

Now more than ever, your support matters.

As arts organizations across the country face unprecedented funding cuts, the need for accessible, healing movement programs has never been greater. Mental health challenges continue to rise, and communities are losing vital resources just when they need them most. Your generosity helps us bridge this gap.

Over the past year, we've deepened our impact by partnering with treatment centers like NewYork-Presbyterian, introducing trauma care workers to alternative paths for self-care and healing. We're especially proud of our expanding VA inpatient work, bringing movement-based healing directly to veterans during their most vulnerable moments of recovery.

This Giving Tuesday, we're excited to expand our commitment to equity and representation.

At a time when federal support for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives is being reduced, grassroots efforts like ours become even more critical. We're funding scholarships for the BIPOC community to train as movement facilitators in leadership roles. These scholarships create pathways into healing arts professions that have historically lacked diverse representation. By empowering BIPOC teachers, we're making 5Rhythms and its modalities more accessible to underserved communities, ensuring that communities of color can see themselves reflected in the facilitators who guide them through trauma-informed movement and healing.

We remain dedicated to supporting mental health across all our programs, offering in-person and virtual classes that alleviate physical pain, boost mental well-being, and help seniors, veterans, and caregivers alike rebuild a sense of belonging.

Your contribution, no matter the size, can create meaningful change. It can bring joy to someone's day, a connection to someone feeling isolated, and hope to someone in need.

Together, we can transform lives, one dance step at a time.
