Refunds and Cancellation Policies

Classes and workshops produced by Syzygy Dance Project are limited to ensure each participant has adequate space to work and attention from the event facilitator. Classes and workshops are popular and fill up quickly, and registrations require significant administrative time.

Once an event is at capacity, registration is disabled. For this reason, if you register and something comes up that prevents you from attending the event, your spot will be included in the class count limit, which prevents others from registering when the event is sold out.

We understand that despite a registrant’s best intentions, you may be unable to attend an SDP event. 

​

If this happens, we will accept cancellations and issue refunds as follows:

​

CLASSES (5Rhythms, Sweat Your Prayers, Sound Bath/Waves, Day of the Dead)

• Email Info@SyzygyDanceProgect.org or syzygydanceproject@gmail.com to request a cancellation.

• Since we are a nonprofit organization, we do not offer refunds for classes. You can, however, donate your ticket.

 

FACILITATOR TRAINING

• Email Info@SyzygyDanceProgect.org or syzygydanceproject@gmail.com to request a cancellation. Application fee and deposits are nonrefundable.

• Full refund minus a 25% admin fee and the upfront application fee up to 30 days from a scheduled event.

WORKSHOPS (Ancestors, Shamanic Journey, Medicine Circle, Heartbeat, Shapeshifting)

• Email Info@SyzygyDanceProgect.org or syzygydanceproject@gmail.com to request a cancellation.

• Full refund minus a 25% admin fee up to 14 days from a scheduled event.

• A 50% refund is available up to 14 days from the scheduled event.

• No refunds will be issued after 14 days before the scheduled event. You can donate your ticket.

PRIVATE SESSIONS WITH SYLVIE MINOT

• Email syzygye@mac.com at least 48 hours before your scheduled private session to request cancellation.

• All private sessions have a 48-hour cancellation policy. 

• Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a loss of the private session without credit. NO REFUNDS/CREDITS will be given. 

 

SYZYGY DANCE PROJECT OR SYLVIE MINOT CANCELLATION

• If Syzygy Dance Project or Sylvie Minot cancels a training event, workshop, class, or 1:1 session, you will receive a full refund of your registration donation/fee. 

E-GIFT CARDS

• E-Gift cards are non-refundable.

• E-Gift cards can be used only to purchase Syzygy Dance Project classes and workshops.

• E-Gift cards are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

• E-Gift cards are provided through squareup.com.

The refund policies listed on this page apply exclusively to event tickets purchased directly from Syzygy Dance Project, whether online or at a Syzygy Dance Project event. If you've obtained event tickets from other producers featuring Sylvie Minot as a guest teacher, and it's not a Syzygy Dance Project-sponsored event, please refer to the respective producer's refund policy and contact them for refund inquiries.

When applicable, refunds issued by Syzygy Dance Project or Sylvie Minot may take up to 4 weeks after processing to be received, depending on the payment method, the banks involved, and your location worldwide. Refunds are issued either by check or, when possible, directly to the original payment method.
