- Facilitator Supervision Consolations
Group supervision is for movement facilitators and somatic practitioners who would like to use movement in deeper ways with their students or clients. Sessions consist of seeing movement and energy patterns in the body, meeting people where they are with movement and energy, attuning and guiding. Group supervision can also help facilitators overcome real-life client struggles and get one-on-one coaching by Sylvie Minot. These can be via phone, Zoom, or Skype. - Private Medicine Circle Sessions
In Medicine Circle, we dance, and the circle holds the big, small, quiet, loud, joyful, still, cathartic, and everything-in-between dances. We use sound—drums, rattles, bells, rain sticks, and song—to call Spirit back in. We pray, for ourselves, for others and for the greater whole. We call on our ancestors, guides and the spirit of the land, honoring our past and creating new pathways for healing.
- Private Sessions with Sylvie Minot
Private sessions with Sylvie Minot are available in person or over Zoom for those interested in exploring in-depth movement individually. What to expect in a session: We start by checking in to see what you’d like to work with, setting an intention, and then doing a drum wash. Dance is used as a way to see what the body is holding. Sylvie will guide you with different imagery to connect various parts of the body to reveal what it’s holding. You then connect the body parts with the parts of the self that are stuck in a pattern that is no longer useful or some other vulnerable part who haven’t had space to come out. We give it space and voice, allowing it to move. To learn more or book Sylvie, please email info@syzygydanceproject.org.
- Small Group Sessions with Sylvie
Each individual participant experiences their unique process while also receiving the support of others and dealing with whatever social interactions bring up. The length of sessions depends on the number of participants in the group. To learn more or book Sylvie, please email info@syzygydanceproject.org.
