Give the Gift of Dance for GivingTuesday
Help Bring Movement Classes to Seniors and Veterans in 2024
Syzygy Dance Project (SDP) passionately strives to bring movement classes to underserved populations facing significant life challenges, such as chronic health issues like diabetes, addiction, incarceration, homelessness, aging, isolated seniors, and veterans dealing with PTSD.
Our unique approach leverages the power of dance and music as guiding forces to help individuals navigate their physical and emotional difficulties.
Returning to in-person classes and easing COVID restrictions demanded innovative thinking, leading us to explore new avenues and swiftly pivot directions. Through this process, we've unearthed fresh opportunities for our mission.
Amid the COVID pandemic, Syzygy Dance Project seamlessly transitioned to offering virtual classes and training, enabling us to connect with communities worldwide. The synergy of virtual and in-person offerings, coupled with the generous support of donors, allowed us to reach more seniors, incarcerated women, and veterans, providing direct assistance through the medium of movement.
In 2024, we are committed to maintaining this momentum by providing:
Today, we earnestly seek your assistance to ensure that we can sustain our mission of making the transformative power of dance accessible to those who need it most.
As someone who has personally experienced the solace of dance during chaotic times, I am deeply committed to extending this gift to others. Would you consider supporting Syzygy Dance Project by contributing to our GivingTuesday campaign?.

PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD
Syzygy Dance Project is dedicated to helping people overcome physical, mental, and emotional challenges by connecting mind, body, and spirit through the power of movement.
Using creative movement exercises, participants learn how to utilize their body as a resource to release stress, anxiety, and/or depression, overcome challenging personal situations, and create space for joy, fun, and healthier behaviors.
We've repeatedly witnessed how movement can transform lives, which is why we hope to bring this work further out into the world!
