Give the Gift of Dance for GivingTuesday
Help bring movement classes to seniors, healthcare professionals, visually-impaired children, and racial justice activists.

SDP provides movement classes to underserved populations grappling with serious life challenges, e.g. addiction, incarceration, homelessness, aging, PTSD and other chronic health issues. Our approach offers a way of moving with and through difficult physical and emotional challenges using dance and music as the guide.
This year has been hard for all of us. It required us to think outside the box, develop new ideas, and rapidly shift directions. In doing so, we’ve discovered new possibilities for our work.
Because we successfully transitioned into offering virtual classes and trainings, we can now connect with populations across the globe. These new offerings enabled us to reach some of the most vulnerable populations this year—overwhelmed healthcare workers, children learning at home, isolated seniors, and racial justice activists.
In 2021, we will continue this momentum, utilizing technology to offer:
While we’ve continued to adapt our offerings and reach new populations, we have not been able to continue much of our in-person work offered in previous years and have therefore lost sorely-needed income. This is where you come in.
We are asking for your support at this time, so that we can continue to make dance accessible to those who need it most.
Dance has helped me through this time of chaos and offering this gift to others is so meaningful. I am asking today if you will renew your support for Syzygy Dance Project by contributing to this GivingTuesday campaign.

- Zoom classes for elderly patients and healthcare professionals
- Zoom classes for visually-impaired children and their parents
- Racial Justice in Motion workshops with SURJ Marin, social justice activists, and BIPOC-specific groups

PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD
Syzygy Dance Project is dedicated to helping people overcome physical, mental, and emotional challenges by connecting mind, body, and spirit through the power of movement.
Using creative movement exercises, participants learn how to utilize their body as a resource to release stress, anxiety, and/or depression, overcome challenging personal situations, and create space for joy, fun, and healthier behaviors.
We've repeatedly witnessed how movement can transform lives, which is why we hope to bring this work further out into the world!
