REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
SDP classes and workshops are limited so that each participant has adequate space to work and attention from the event facilitator. Classes and workshops are popular and fill up quickly, and registrations require significant administrative time.
Once an event is at capacity, the ability to register is disabled. For this reason, if you register and something comes up where you cannot attend the event, your spot has been included as part of the class count limit that prevents others from registering when the event is sold out.
We understand that despite a registrant’s best intentions, you may be unable to attend an SDP event.
If this happens, we will accept cancellations and issue refunds as follows:
GROUP MOVEMENT CLASSES (5Rhythms, Sweat Your Prayers, Sound Waves, Day of the Dead)
- First, you must email [email protected] or [email protected] to request a cancellation.
- Full refund minus a 25% admin fee up to 5 days from a scheduled event.
- 50% refund after that up to 48 hours from the scheduled event.
- No refunds within 48 hours of a scheduled event.
OUTREACH FACILITATOR TRAINING
- First, you must email [email protected] or [email protected] to request a cancellation.
- Full refund minus a 25% admin fee and the upfront application fee up to 30 days from a scheduled event.
- 50% refund after that up to one week from a scheduled event.
- No refunds within the week of a scheduled training series.
- An exception will be made for an unexpected illness, i.e., COVID-19-related issues, and a refund of 50% or a credit to attend an upcoming workshop can be issued.
WORKSHOPS (Ancestors, Shamanic Journey, Medicine Circle, Shapeshifting)
- First, you must email [email protected] or [email protected] to request a cancellation.
- Full refund minus a 25% admin fee up to 14 days from a scheduled event.
- 50% refund after that up to 5 days from a scheduled event.
- No refunds within 4 days of a scheduled event.
- An exception will be made for an unexpected illness, i.e., COVID-19-related issues, and a refund of 50% or a credit to attend an upcoming workshop can be issued.
ONE-ON-ONE WORK WITH SYLVIE MINOT
- First, you must email [email protected] to cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled private session to request a cancellation.
- All private sessions have a 48-hour cancellation policy.
- Late cancelations or no-shows will result in a loss of the private session without credit. NO REFUNDS/CREDITS will be given.
SYZYGY DANCE PROJECT OR SYLVIE MINOT CANCELLATION
- If Syzygy Dance Project or Sylvie Minot cancels a training event, workshop, class, or 1:1 session, you will be fully refunded for your registration donation/fee.
E-GIFT CARDS
- E-Gift cards are non-refundable.
- E-Gift cards can be used to purchase Syzygy Dance Project classes and workshops only.
- E-Gift cards are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
- E-Gift cards are provided through squareup.com.
The refund policies listed on this page apply exclusively to event tickets acquired directly from Syzygy Dance Project, whether through online purchase or at a Syzygy Dance Project event. If you've obtained event tickets from other producers featuring Sylvie Minot as a guest teacher, and it's not a Syzygy Dance Project sponsored event, please refer to the respective producer's refund policy and contact them for refund inquiries.
When applicable, refunds issued by Syzygy Dance Project or Sylvie Minot and may take up to 4 weeks after the refund has been processed to be received depending on the payment method, the banks involved and your location in the world. Refunds are issued either by check or directly to the original method of payment, when possible.
