 As April unfolds, we turn our attention to Earth Day, a time to honor our planet and reaffirm our commitment to environmental stewardship of Mother Earth.  As the rain-soaked winter season drags on here in California, many of us grapple with the notorious "winter blues." The shorter days, seemingly constant rain, and lack of sunlight can affect our mood and overall well-being.  Today marks the spring equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the beginning of fall south of the equator. Spring is honored in the direction of the East.  The vernal equinox arrives on the evening of March 19, 2024. It marks the beginning of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, symbolizing a time of renewal, growth, and rebirth.  In March, we commemorate Women's History Month and celebrate International Women's Day, recognizing women's indomitable spirit and profound impact.
