The Kokopelli is an ancient symbol within some Native cultures that signifies fertility and the transition from winter to spring. The Kokopelli is depicted holding a flute as he travels from village to village, delivering the change of season through music-making and dancing. The Sacred Truth of the sixth chakra is “Seek only Truth.” This energy center, also referred to as “Ajna,” opens the world beyond our physical eyes. It allows us to perceive apart from the rational mind--past our limiting belief system. I've been thinking about breath this week and how this life force works without thought, action, and, all too often, awareness. Except maybe during the past year. |
