![]() Solstices hold a special reminder for me that a new path will reveal itself. This past year, we have experienced a combination of events that could have been written in fiction books. You can't survive tumultuous times without changing and adapting. ![]() A twenty-year cycle that began in 2000 will be coming to an end on the Winter Solstice, Monday, December 21. Jupiter and Saturn will form a ‘Great Conjunction’ when they appear closer in the night sky than they have since 1226 A.D. This celestial event will create a Christmas star--an illumination shining so brightly, you won’t need a telescope to see it. Talk about the light announcing its return! ![]() In Native American culture, December begins a season of storytelling and ceremony. I recently came across a series of Native American Winter stories. One story by Tom Porter, a Mohawk elder, tells of the first person who came to this Earth was "Sky Woman," the first Mother of us all. |
