A Doorway to the Future

January holds a profound significance as a time of transitions, new beginnings, and a doorway to the future.

This first month of the new year invites us to stand at the threshold of possibility, to honor both where we've been and where we aspire to go. As we bid farewell to 2023, let's welcome the new year with all its potential and inspire each other to grow and change for a better world.

At Syzygy Dance Project, dance is a gateway to growth and change and connects us with the rhythm of life itself. We hope to dance with you soon in this new year.

Here is a list of our upcoming events:

Movement Teachers Consulting Group: I am excited about our new Consulting Group for movement teachers beginning next Monday, February 12, 2024. We will discuss the issues that arise on the dance floor and offer our experiences to each other to enrich our teaching and prevent burnout.

Shapeshifter Workshop: We are in a place in our lifetime where we need help from beyond the physical and mental world. We need to access the old wisdom of nature and animal allies. In this 3-day workshop starting February 16, we will look at how we survive, protect, and love, and with the help of these allies and the four directions, how we move forward on our journey as human beings.

May the joy of movement carry us through this leap year.
