"We steadily vow that no matter, how we are weighed down, we must always pave a way forward." I find these words by poet and activist Amanda Gorman inspiring. In my daily life, I try to embody seeing each day as a new day and each moment as a new moment. When I dance, each movement creates a new movement that leads to a new moment and a new way. I am grateful that dance is my life’s calling and to make a difference in this world through the sharing of dance with others. During the pandemic, I found a new way to connect through the spirit world with a series I launched over Zoom called Shamanic Journey and Movement. Shamanic journeying bridges humans between the worlds, beyond the five senses, to recover messages, knowledge, and wisdom from our guardian spirits and ancestral allies. Journeys have been immensely profound during this time of unrest when we've needed to connect with our guardian spirits and ancestral allies more than ever. For a deeper dive globally, I have decided to restart the virtual committed series. I invite you to experience Shamanic Journeying and Movement for 7 weeks on Tuesdays, from February 14 - March 28, at 5 - 7 pm US PST on ZOOM. Sliding scale suggested donations range from $225-350 USD.
