![]() Dance is often described as a mystical, euphoric, or spiritual experience that opens us up to a greater connection. The pandemic restrictions tested our ability to reimagine the way we connect, requiring us to develop new methods of experiencing dance together and keeping our sacred bonds alive, even if over the web. Spring has become a busy traveling period for SDP events. This week, I am traveling to Arizona to facilitate an in-person Medicine Circle. Then late April through early May, I will be in Australia. From April 21-23, I am facilitating a Heartbeat Elements Workshop in Melbourne, a daylong Ancestors event April 28 - 29th in Sydney, and Wendy and I will lead a Medicine Circle May 5 - 7 in Newtown. I love dancing with other communities. There is something about bringing our bay area community’s vibes to connect with others in distant locations. This energetic web of dance creates a bond like no other. I feel like we’ve made it through because of this special interconnection. I hope to move with you in person as this new year unfolds. Thank you for being a part of our wonderfully connected community.
