Next week's solar eclipse heralds a potent period of transformation and renewal, inviting us to delve into the depths of our souls and embrace the winds of change. As the moon momentarily obscures the sun, we're reminded of the cyclical nature of life and the opportunities for new beginnings that arise from moments of darkness. I am always in awe of the celestial bodies moving around us, and the total solar eclipse is at the top of the list. What a phenomenon to experience, whether we’re right there watching it or simply feeling its energy from afar. Solar eclipse energy brings enormous power, but it is a quiet one reflected in the mood of a new moon. Solar eclipses incite major transformation. We can’t help but become aware of the truths within ourselves, normally hidden in the dark. I will be fortunate to be in Austin, Texas, to watch this phenomenon in person. This eclipse is the beginning of a travel month for me. When I return home from Austin with the energy of the eclipse, I look forward to our Sweat Your Prayers on Saturday, April 13, in Point Richmond, where we’ll dance with this energy and release and transform what is no longer needed. After the April Sweat Your Prayers, I will be on the road to New York, then Toronto, and back to NYC before returning home. I’m excited to dance with some of you in New York and my first time in Toronto, Canada, for dancing with Ancestors work. I have a few slots open on April 25 for private sessions in NY; if you’re interested, please contact me. I look forward to dancing with you. With love, Sylvie and the SDP Team "The reappearance of the light is the same as the survival of the soul."
