![]() Last week, Syzygy Dance Project's 6-week 5Rhythms Ancestors series came to an end. Sylvie interweaved dance with participant's Ancestral lineages through tribes, animal clans, and lands--such powerful and timely work made omnipotent during November's Native American Heritage Month. We feel such gratitude to Native Americans for the ground that we stand on. The ancestors who showed up, moved with the class and witnessed this series during the weekly Ancestors practice reminded us of the ever-present flow of life's energy through space and time. Sylvie Minot offers private sessions for anyone who would like to dive further into Ancestors work with movement. Please, contact Syzygy Dance Project if you are interested. Here's is the link: https://www.syzygydanceproject.org/work-with-sylvie.html This November full moon is known as the "Beaver Moon" because beavers prepare for winter during this time. For those of you who have the Beaver as your animal ally, this is an excellent time to call upon them for support. This full moon falls under Taurus which usually means security and practicality, but eclipses unsettle everything so we can easily feel overwhelmed. I invite you to be spontaneous and have a little fun balancing body and breath with the deep rhythms of the full moon against the intensity happening in the world. With love, Sylvie and the SDP Team P.S. This week, I am teaching with The American Heart Association; here's a link to a playlist if you'd like to dance to it whenever you want: Better U on Apple Music - Sylvie Minot About Sylvie Minot![]() Sylvie Minot received her BA in Dance from San Jose State University and is a certified 5Rhythms® Teacher who was also trained in the Heartbeat (emotional) map by Gabrielle Roth.
