"Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that." - MLK, Jr. This coming Sunday's lunar eclipse happens when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are in syzygy with the Earth. This rare event only happens on the night of a full moon. We can feel its life force influence shift as the moonlight's soothing energy gently reappears. Lunar eclipses have always fascinated me. How the Earth's shadow blocks the moonlight, but you can still sense the light that is there waiting for the shadow to move along on its celestial path. A reminder to connect with our own inner light, and carry its glow out into our world to share with others. This weekend's "Flower full moon" eclipse should create spectacular views as this special blood-colored moon rises on the horizon. I invite you to use the principle of illumination in your daily movements on Sunday to practice mentally letting go of the dark and welcoming back in the light.
