The Vernal Equinox arrives on Monday, March 20th. This equinox is seen by many as a time of renewal and purification. As such, it is a popular time for physical and spiritual decluttering. Many use this time to clear out their homes and minds, creating new growth. Percy Bysshe Shelley speaks to this new growth in her poem The Sensitive Plant: And Spring arose on the garden fair, Some of us who have experienced months of harsh weather crave the warmth and brightness of the sun's incandescent rays in our lives. We feel the energetic pull of Equinox day. I want to celebrate Equinox with a pop-up in-person 5Rhythms dance on Monday, March 20th, in Mill Valley, CA. There is a perfect balance between night and day on the Equinox--a time before the daylight grows longer as the Earth's tilt shifts back towards the sun in the Northern Hemisphere. We'll dance to this period of renewal, purification, and new beginnings. Please consider joining me on Monday evening to dance for what you want to break free from and what new beginnings you want to create. And if you can't join us, use the Equinox as a reminder to be open to adapting and evolving as we move into a new season of life.
