Sylvie Minot started offering a virtual Shamanic Journey and Movement series in Fall 2020 because dancing in person was unavailable. The series was a powerful way to connect with participants all over the world.

Now that Sylvie am facilitating in-person dance classes, she feels a virtual 7-week series will allow participants to connect again across the miles. Considering the current state of the world, she finds it essential to share and unite in these realms.

It is inspiring to ride the drumbeat and relate to others during this journey, even if it is through Zoom. Sylvie believes it's because we are tapping into another realm together, and we relate differently, rather than sitting and looking at each other over a device.

This 7-week committed group series will begin in the U.S. on Tuesday, August 2, and run once a week to September 13, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm (PST); 8:00 - 10:00 pm (EST); and if you live in Australia, your day and time fall on Wednesdays from August 3 to September 14, at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (AEST). These sessions are 2 hours. Spirit has its timing, so Sylvie likes to have the flexibility for the end time.

There is a sliding scale payment option from $210 - $350. Payment options are available. Pre-registration is required.

Sylvie Minot is the executive director and founder of Syzygy Dance Project. Since 2000, Sylvie has taught weekly 5Rhythms dance classes and workshops in the Bay Area, New York, throughout the US, and Mexico.

Sylvie has worked with a variety of populations including inmates, veterans, at-risk youth, recovering addicts, hospital patients, and the general public.

Sylvie received her BA in Dance from SJSU and is a certified 5Rhythms® Teacher who was also trained in the Heartbeat (emotional) map by Gabrielle Roth.

She has studied psychology, indigenous healing rituals, energy medicine, and sound healing and is inspired by the teachings of Angeles Arrien, author and speaker Carolyn Myss, and sound healer Tito La Rosa.

Sylvie is often described as a catalytic shape-shifter because of her ability to meet people right where they are and move with them into new possibilities.
