Syzygy Dance Project executive director, Sylvie Minot is excited to announce her Shamanic Journey workshop connecting the dream world, journeying, dancing, and writing. This Fall, Sylvie will invite you to explore the world of dreams and angels and the magic it contains. Diving into the Shamanic Journey with the symbols of your dreams will bring you into the world of allies, guides, and power animals. Combining the two realms with the expression of your body through movement will allow you to tap deeper into the mystical world. The workshop will begin with movement, inviting a specific dream that you would like to work with into your dance. You will then journey with the images of the dream. Coming out of the journey, you will bring it into your dance once again. You will write after the dance. The second part will be dancing to each participant's dreams and journeys. This workshop is a ceremony to invite in the subconscious and spirit world. It will consist of a ritual to offer our gratitude and blessing. Space will be limited.
“Most of what happens in a circle is beyond the verbal realm, and often afterwards all I know is that I feel an expansion in my heart, body, mind, and spirit.
