Thank you for supporting our community outreach programs with your donations in 2021, either through Giving Tuesday events or donating and joining SDP Zoom dance classes.
You've provided us with funding, hope, encouragement, smiles, and a community foundation to expand our non-profit work bringing the power of dance to those in need during unprecedented times.
If you haven't had a chance to participate in our end-of-the-year fundraising through Giving Tuesday, it's not too late. You can still contribute. Visit our GivingTuesday contribution page on Syzygy Dance Project or on Facebook.
December is a month filled with celebration. To celebrate means acknowledging (a significant or happy day or event) with enjoyable activity. Ever since humans have lived in groups, dancing has been a part of rituals, celebrations, and festivals.
Cultures have used dance to express joy, grief, pride, and a sense of community as a medium for expression during difficult circumstances. We’ve been called to dance with community under extreme conditions and find a way to create connection and joy over the internet and electronic devices.
Now, we're shifting back into a dance studio for a monthly combined in-person and virtual class with specific safety protocols in place. This Saturday, we alter our way of dancing once again to meet the challenge of these times. I hope you can join us.
Details and registration for Saturday's class are below:
And again, THANK YOU. Our work continues because of you and your generous spirit and willingness to adapt to new ways of looking at how we come together as a community to dance.

PS. For Syzygy Dance Project classes, no dance experience is needed. Beginners are always welcome. Come join us! If you are a recurring monthly member planning on attending Saturday's class, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know if you will be dancing in person or with Zoom to add you to the appropriate list. A few in-person participants have already emailed us copies of their COVID vaccination cards ahead of Saturday's class, and you are welcome to do the same.
Syzygy Dance Project (SDP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that transforms lives through dance movement. We offer regular dance classes to the public and outreach dance classes for inmates, veterans, recovering addicts, chronically ill patients, and the elderly.
