August by Lizette Woodworth Reese No wind, no bird. The river flames like brass. August is my favorite month, as I can feel the light shifting and the quietness that happens right before the change of seasons. In celebration of my birthday and others' August birthdays, I am offering a 5Rhythms pop-up dance this Wednesday evening, August 24th, in Mill Valley. I am excited to dance in person on a Wednesday night again! I hope we can reconnect to a deep sense of ourselves and each other while having fun dancing to some of my favorite music. This special event is free and donation-based in support of Syzygy Dance Project's outreach programs--no contribution is too small. Please pre-register as space is limited. Since we will be indoors, and for safety concerns, please take a COVID test on Wednesday before coming to the event.
