![]() The Coming of Light by Mark Strand Even this late it happens: the coming of love, the coming of light. You wake and the candles are lit as if by themselves, Stars gather, dreams pour into your pillows, sending up warm bouquets of air. Even this late the bones of the body shine and tomorrow's dust flares into breath. Sunday marks the beginning of Hanukkah, the holiday of Light. It’s a period of circumspection on the inner darkness and light we carry within and an opportunity to reconnect with the divine self. Dancing is a wonderful way to move with the essence of the darkness and light within. Please join us this Saturday for our December Sweat Your Prayers class, as we connect our heart, body, mind, and spirit through our movement practice together with the light and dark, grounded in our supportive community. Wishing you a season full of light and love. With love, Sylvie and the SDP Team Saturday, December 17 Sweat Your Prayers Registration Details Registration is now closed. *If you are a recurring member of SDP, you do not have to register for this class, but you do need to email [email protected] if you plan to attend as space is limited.
