![]() Whenever I travel, I am reminded of change. There's the change you initiate and the change that is thrust upon you. It's how you embrace or reject change that colors your life experience. It's your reaction that makes change an outward expression of yay or nay. It's a dance you are constantly being hailed to move through. When the power of it pulls you off your center, you must learn to ground yourself, take some deep breaths, move your body, and open your heart to the unfamiliar. And yes, I admit, there are changes I would happily dance around if offered a choice. ABOUT SYLVIE MINOT![]() Sylvie Minot received her BA in Dance from San Jose State University and is a certified 5Rhythms® Teacher who was also trained in the Heartbeat (emotional) map by Gabrielle Roth. Sylvie has studied psychology, indigenous healing rituals, energy medicine, and sound healing and is inspired by the teachings of Angeles Arrien, Caroline Myss, and Tito La Rosa. Since 2000, Sylvie has taught weekly Wednesday evening 5Rhythms & Beyond dance classes and special workshops for a variety of populations.
