Sometimes you hear a voice through the door calling you. As a fish out of water hears the waves... Come back. Come back. This turning toward what you deeply love saves you. - Rumi The sun, the moon, and the earth lined up in the early hours this morning creating “syzygy” and a total lunar eclipse when the moon moved into the earth’s shadow, forming the orange-red color of the moon. I read an article suggesting “taking a break from ‘wanting’ is just good spiritual hygiene” during this eclipse because the energy is so intensive and volatile. Today is also Election Day, and I wonder what this means for us. I don’t have an answer. I don’t think it is a coincidence though. Eclipses are known to slam doors on certain circumstances and also open new doors. This energy lasts for at least a week. I can only prepare myself by taking action where I can, being patient and grounded when I need to, and connecting to a higher realm for my sanity. Dancing is one of the doorways for me; sound healing is another. I invite you to join me this Saturday as we dance exploring new doorways and releasing the old.
